Golf.Golf - Learn To Play


R&A and Scottish Golf Logos

Golf.Golf is the new initiative recently launched by the R&A and Scottish Golf which offers a programme of short courses and sessions so potential players can learn how to play golf in a fun and welcoming environment. The aim of Golf.Golf is to grow the game by encouraging people of all ages and abilities to give golf a go or get back to it and pick it up again. Fife Golf are delighted to announce that five golf venues in Fife will be hosting courses and sessions from the Golf.Golf programme;  Thornton Golf Club, Cluny Activities, Ladybank Golf Club, Burntisland Golf House Club and Saline Golf Club

The Golf.Golf Programme


The programme courses and sessions are designed for kids and adults and include Taster Sessions, Learn to Golf for kids, Get Confident in the Basics and more. Find the perfect programme for you!

The Courses & Sessions:

Women's Get Confident in the Basics

Four 60-minute beginner friendly sessions for female golfers, held over four weeks – £60. All equipment will be provided. Maximum group size is 6 people.

Girls Golf Hubs

Aimed at female juniors aged 5-18 years old. The girls’ will be learning the basics of golf through the interactive Learn to Golf resources delivered by SafeGolf accredited coaches

Learn to Golf

Learn to Golf is part of Scotland’s National Junior Golf Framework where all children (5-18 years)  will be provided with a fantastic first experience of golf as they play their way through five progressive levels centred around fun, friendships and developing new skills.

Get Confident in the Basics

Four 60-minute beginner friendly sessions for adults, held over four weeks – £60. All equipment will be provided. Maximum group size is 6 people.

One to One Introduction

A one-to-one introductory session making your first experience of golf personalised and fun. An individual programme will be tailored to suit you, creating goals to help you get confident with the fundamentals of playing golf.

Golf Taster Session

Visit your local golf venue for a Golf Taster Session so you can hear about a variety of beginner programmes and try golf in a relaxed environment with other beginners.

Accelerated Learning (Not offered in Fife)

A condensed instructional programme delivered by highly qualified PGA Professional. Participants receive personalised analysis to understand their golf swing and ball flight.  All equipment will be provided. Maximum group size 4 people.
