Cowdenbeath is full of character and charm. The course is a picturesque parkland layout with gentle undulations and tree lined fairways. It provides a challenge for both high and low handicappers. Originally the course was built as a 9 hole on the old Dora Coal mine site in 1991, but five years later was opened as a full 18 by Sir Michael Bonallack.
