The 2024 AIG Women’s Open will take place on the historic Old Course, St Andrews. This year presents a unique opportunity for golf fans to experience one of golf’s most amazing majors at the home of golf.

A Celebration of Women’s Golf

The 2024 AIG Women’s Open will bring 144 of the world’s best players to the most iconic golf venue the Old Course, St Andrews. The championship will feature the top 50 players in the Rolex Women’s World Rankings. The tournament will take place between 21st – 25th August 2024. The tournament promises to offer world-class entertainment both on and off the course. The R&A and Live Nation will be joining forces to bring together golf and live musical performances with BRIT nominated headliner Tom Grennan performing on Saturday 24th August.

AIG Women’s Open Championship Format

The AIG Women’s Open golf championship will be played over four days 22nd – 25th August 2024 with the final practice day being played on 21st August. This prestigious annual women’s golf tournament has been staged in the UK since 1976 but returns to St Andrews this year after a 10-year break. Each professional will pay 18 holes Thursday – Sunday. The player who completes the fewest shots will be crowned the AIG Women’s Open champion. The prize fund will be US $9 million, in 2023 Lilia Vu the champion won $1.35 million.

Live Entertainment – Tom Grennan to headline at AIG Women’s Open Concert, St Andrews

BRIT nominated singer songwriter Tom Grennan will be headlining the AIG Women’s Open Concert on Saturday 24th August, 2024, St Andrews. Fleur East will be the supporting act for Tom and Stephanie Cheape will open the stage wiht a live DJ set.

Saturday golf spectators at the Women’s Open will have access to the live entertainment at night when play has finished for the day. The stage will be in the Fan Festival Village, located on the Balgove Course, next to the Old Course, St Andrews. The concert will be an outside standing event.

Tickets are: Adults £55 | Youth Tickets £40 | Junior Tickets £20 – this includes a full day of golf and the concert afterwards.
