The Torrance Course offers a challenge to both amateurs and professionals alike. It offers a great test and multiple risk/reward opportunities on many of the holes. The course was host to the 2010 Final Open Qualifying and Scottish Seniors Open in between 2009 and 2014. Eight of the holes at The Torrance were redesigned under the direction of golf course architect Gary Stephenson and former Ryder Cup Captain Sam Torrance. The deep revetted bunkers and links design makes The Torrance one of Scotland’s most dramatic and challenging courses.
